A pregnancy confirmation and viability ultrasound is an early prenatal exam available at our East Brunswick, NJ and Edgewater, NJ locations. This ultrasound is used to confirm an intrauterine pregnancy and check if it’s developing normally. Typically performed transvaginally in the first trimester, the sonogram looks for the presence of a gestational sac, yolk sac, fetal pole, and cardiac activity. The sonographer will also measure the crown-rump length to estimate gestational age. This safe, non-invasive ultrasound provides important early information about the health and viability of your pregnancy. Refund Policy If your baby isn’t in an ideal position during your session, we may recommend rescheduling your scan for a later time to give your baby a chance to move. (Please note: complimentary re-scans are not available with Special offers.) There is a $75 sitting fee that you pay at your first visit. This fee is non-refundable and is part of our 3D / 4D / 5D / HD Live ultrasound packages. If we get good pictures at your second visit, you’ll just pay the rest of the package price. But if your baby is still hiding and we can’t finish the session, you don’t have to pay anything more. Your satisfaction is very important to us! If you have any concerns during your visit, please don’t hesitate to let us know before you leave so we can make sure you’re happy with your experience. Best Timing for Ultrasounds. If no prior ultrasound has been done, a pregnancy confirmation scan is required. Every elective ultrasound includes a limited diagnostic check (heartbeat, fetal count, position, and placenta).
